The Koko Pâtisserie Story

Koko Pâtisserie is the culmination of a dream long-held by a local wife and husband team - Marcie and Kirby Punshon. Marcie’s passion for all things food started when she was seven years old and began baking with her mom. As a teenager, she found a second mentor when she began working at one of Saskatchewan’s first haute cuisine restaurants - Mieka’s. Marcie has continued to train ever since, including time at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa.

Kirby also developed his entrepreneurial side early, by helping run his family’s floral company as he grew up. The experience gave him a taste for business and taught him a few important things: have pride in what you do, value your customers and share any success you have with those around you.

Marcie and Kirby started in their home kitchen, combining their expertise and passion to develop a recipe for success. With Koko, they’re focused on creating a line of boutique products without the boutique price. Everything is made from scratch with special care and only the finest and freshest ingredients.
